FAQS - PROPERTY FOR SALE AT RED SKY ON LESSER SLAVE LAKE

TELL ME ABOUT RED SKY - THE CONDENSED VERSION:

Red Sky Shores is an established waterfront community of cottagers, RV lake lot owners, and savvy investors on the shores of massive Lesser Slave Lake beside the town of Joussard, Alberta about 45 minutes west of the town of Slave Lake. The development has completed all construction of roads and full services with complete buried municipal power, natural gas, town water and sewer lines (no smelly septic tanks here) now in place.

LOTS SOLD TO-DATE:

We have sold 83 lake lots to-date (Feb 2016) with more pending sales. We have city size lots and large-size lake lots - all with full services to the property line - we have several lake view lots for sale and only select lake front properties - more sales updates coming throughout 2016.

ABOUT THE LAKE:

We have a natural lake front with native plants and waterbased plant habitat offering a protected shoreline ideal for fish spawning - and boy do they spawn - there is a sandy beach area we have unearthed a bit inland from the lakefront for our lake lot owners to enjoy. Plus there is a sandy beach a brief 5 minute quad ride down the shoreline.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPMENT:

Our beautiful waterfront community is nestled on the shores of the massive and pristine 110km long Lesser Slave Lake. Very well treed (plus we just planted hundreds of more trees to make Red Sky even more covered with trees) lake lots with full buried-services.  Our town water and sewer lines means there are no smelly septics, no water hauling.   Although huge in size, Lesser Slave Lake only has a tiny fraction of its hundreds of kilometres of lake shoreline with access to any services whatsoever making our fully serviced waterfront property a rare find.

Added to this, only an even smaller portion of the waterfront is privately owned - leaving a scant few miles of shoreline for cottages, lake home owners and RV lake lot owners to purchase on this mammoth-sized, pristine lake. Red Sky has a nice portion of that shoreline and full municipal services as mentioned making our lake properties even more valuable.  Added to this, we are selling consistently, while our prices are continuing to increase as they have every year for 4 years in a row to coincide with the utility grid and road construction of all 3 phases, which is now totally complete.   Red Sky also features direct access to the water via our private pier and docks.

WHAT ARE THE RULES?
No Building Commitment unless you decide to start - then you have 18 months to finish the exterior. You may have a maximum of 2 sleeping quarters on your property EXAMPLE:  2 cottages on 1 lot or 1 RV and a cabin on 1 lot etc.. Common sense architectural guidelines are in place for everyone's protection -Example: someone can't build a 4 storey castle  or drag an old wreck onto their property next to your gorgeous new lake home. Red Sky now has an Owners Board made up of elected owners who simply work with all lot owners to amend any rules, regulations or basic fees (snow clearing etc), which relate to the owners of Red Sky lake lots.
